ENERGY
Electrification of the population is 100% in Türkiye. Total installed capacity is 110,518 MW. Fossil fuels account for 42,1% of the total installed capacity whilst the share of hydro is 29.1%, solar 13.7%., wind 11,1% and others 4%.
ECONOMY
According to IMF, Türkiye is the 17th largest economy in the world and has an upper-middle income, mixed-market, emerging economy. It is a member of the OECD and the G20 and an increasingly important donor of official development assistance.
Türkiye is among the world’s leading producers of agricultural products, textiles, motor vehicles, transportation equipment, construction materials, consumer electronics, and home appliances.
